Cometa Loves BBR Denim Apron
The multi-use demin apron features: Adjustable straps with two pockets, a towel loop and the essence of La Dolce Vita.
This is our second design for the “Cometa Loves BBR” collaboration with Terry Di Renzo of Casa Cometa. If you visit Terry’s art studio in Quartieri Spagnoli a neighborhood of Napoli, you will often spot her wearing a denim apron featuring Casa Cometa in pink embroidery.
Every visit to Napoli I walk up the lively, narrow streets of Quartieri Spagnoli to her workshop to admire her talents and creativity. Terry's passion for her culture, her city, and her art can be seen solely from the windows of her studio. Filled of stickers she's designed and stickers of the ones who have visited, the essence of her studio can be felt from the outside in. Terry and I share a passion for Napoli & its culture. Her affection for Napoli is vividly represented through each ceramic, Ex Voto, or wine glass she designs. Each piece she creates serves as a vibrant tapestry, exploring the essence, colors, and emotions of Napoli's captivating landscapes, traditions, and spirited community.
Her workshop beautifully captures the heart and soul of Napoli, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in its unique charm and her appreciation of the city.
For passion, Terry enjoys drawing with markers on different materials such as wine glasses. She loves wine just as much as I do and that's why we decided to collaborate on a wine tote. "Casa Cometa" can be found in the heart of Quartieri Spagnoli. Her historic and vibrant location alone, embodies the essence of Neapolitan life.
